PolyChroma High Jewelry

Bulgari’s new Polychroma High Jewelry collection launched in May in Taormina, Sicily. It’s all about celebrating color—think giant cabochons of rubellite, peridot, tanzanite, massive emeralds and spinels. Creative director Lucia Silvestri says the collection is inspired by the “universal language of colour”—a joyful, bold statement in every jewel

The brand’s history goes back to Rome in 1884, founded by Sotirios Voulgaris. Over time, Bulgari became known for combining Roman-inspired Tubogas designs with vibrant gemstones. That blend of classical design and colorful stones is what Polychroma builds on, with 56 different gems and shapes echoing both ancient domes and today’s rainbow palettes.

This launch featured 250 new pieces—including 60 “millionaire” creations worth over a million euros each. Highlights are the Cosmic Vault with royal‑blue sapphire, the Magnus Emerald (241‑carat emerald), the spinel‑centred Celestial Mosaic, and the floral Polychromatic Bloom with rubellite, peridot and tanzanite.

The collection dazzles with color and scale, designed to be both wearable and breathtaking.
