BruceGlen is known for bold colors and fearless patterns—what’s your creative process like when starting a new collection?
Our collections always begin with Color—not just as a visual choice, but as a spiritual expression. We start by resting, allowing ourselves to be poured into by God. In that stillness, we’re filled—often with visions, moods, emotions, and tones—and the overflow becomes color. That color becomes the foundation.
From there, we build prints—fearless, expressive, layered. We ask ourselves: what is this color saying? What story is it telling in this season? And finally, we translate that story into wearable silhouettes. Shapes that move with joy, confidence, and freedom. The entire process is a runover from what God is doing inside of us. It’s worship. It’s fashion. And it always starts with rest.
How do you blend two voices and style visions while keeping BruceGlen’s brand cohesive?
That’s the magic of being twins—we’re different, but deeply in sync. We respect each other’s instincts and challenge each other constantly, but we’re always aligned in the mission: joy, freedom, and divine creativity. One of us might push things louder; the other refines. View More
Faith is a big part of your lives. How does your spirituality influence your work and message?
Faith is the foundation of everything we do. It’s the source of our confidence, creativity, and courage. We believe fashion can be a form of ministry—spreading joy, reminding people they are seen, loved, and chosen. Our collections are sermons in color and movement. We pray before we design. We ask God to guide each step.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from each other while building BruceGlen?
From Glen: I’ve learned from Bruce the power of believing bigger. He pushes me to dream beyond the box.
From Bruce: I’ve learned from Glen the beauty of patience and precision. He reminds me that details matter.
Together, we’ve learned that grace, humility, and forgiveness are essential for creating anything lasting.
Moving from corporate fashion like American Rag and Beyoncé’s House of Deréon to your own label must have been a big leap—what challenges surprised you?
Whew—all of it was a surprise! In corporate fashion, you have departments: production, sales, PR. Starting our own label meant wearing all those hats ourselves. We thought the biggest challenge would be design—it was actually everything else. But every struggle taught us resilience, resourcefulness, and how to trust the process.
How do you balance staying true to your artistic vision while meeting the demands of the fashion market?
It’s a dance. Sometimes the market says “neutral,” and we say “neon!” But we’ve learned to listen without compromising. The key is knowing our why—we’re here to spark joy and turn heads. We trust our community. They come to us for color, for energy, for boldness. So we stay rooted in that.
Your work radiates joy and positivity! How does storytelling play a part in your collections and shows?
Storytelling is at the heart of everything. Each collection has a theme, a message, a mood. Our shows are like mini-movies: the music, the movement, even the colors all speak. We want people to leave not just inspired by the clothes, but moved by the experience. If someone smiles, dances, or feels more free—we’ve done our job. Click here…
Where do you hope to take BruceGlen in the next few years? Any exciting dreams beyond clothing?
Absolutely! We see BruceGlen expanding beyond fashion into lifestyle—home, fragrance, maybe even film or performance. We dream of immersive experiences that fuse fashion, faith, food, and community. We want to create spaces where people feel celebrated just as they are.
Sibling secrets to success?
Pray together. Laugh a lot. Never keep score. And when in doubt—let the best idea win, no ego. Oh, and always match your energy with your outfits!
What is your favorite color, and why?
Fuchsia! It’s bold, bright, and impossible to ignore—just like us. It also happens to be the color of our hair, so we might be a little biased. Honestly, if a color could scream “look at me!” while also giving you a hug, it would be fuchsia!
